Electrolysis Hair Removal

Electrolysis is a safe and effective method for hair removal, approved by the British Institute and Association of Electrolysis (BIAE).

How it works:

A direct current is applied to the hair follicle and destroys the hair using chemical or heat energy. The current is applied through a thin probe which is introduced via an existing opening in the skin to the hair follicle. Using tweezers, the hair is picked up and removed.

Hair Colour

Electrolysis works effectively on every hair colour. Blonder ginger light brown hair to black hair.

Hair Thickness

Electrolysis works great on thick hairs but also on very thin hairs that laser may not pick up. All hairs can be treated within the same session with different settings.

No Shaving

Hairs to be treated must be at a length where it is pluckable. If multiple sessions are needed. hair can be cut down between appointment rather than shaving, waxing or threading which should be avoided during your treatment plan.

Is it Painful?

As the probe is inserted into the hair follicle and the current is applied. There will be a feeling of heat. Afterwards an ice pack can be applied to help sooth and reduce redness and swelling. Numbing cream can be bought beforehand and applied.

Aftercare

Following the treatment, you may experience some redness and minor discomfort in the treated area.
